TM Battery and charger question

Just adding a Trolling Motor to my canoe for the first time and I am looking
for help in chousing a battery and a charger. Can anybody point me in a good
direction as to where to buy and what to get?

I am doing fresh water bass fishing so a 12 volt system with around 40-50lbs
of thrust (I am picking up the motor next weekend)

Boy I hardly wait as it will be in the 70's this week in Maryland!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Bruce

I bought the Vector 2/20/35 automatic at Walmart to recharge the TM
batteries. I really like this charger. Seems to do a much better charging
than the Shumacher 2/10 amp automatic did. As to a TM battery, I was using
the Costco brands, but just bought the Marine Max group 29 at Walmart for
the camper. Has a 24 month free replacement warranty.

Thanks Bill,
I was just at Wal-Mart yesterday wondering if anybody was using those
chargers. Now to just pick the battery. That I have no idea what deep cycle
one to chouse. I mean my whole canoe loaded down is only about 300lbs with
batt stuff and me so about 45lbs of thrust should be good I would think, but
I have no idea how to pick the right one. I cant seem to find out any info
on it yet without asking.

Well again, thanks...
