I think that's still true, but Stan/George will be along shortly to correct my info. ;-) My guess is this is a situation that will be in place for years to come. -- TL, Tim ------------------------ http://css.sbcma.com/timj |

It will probably be like this for a really long time. -- Stan Gula http://gula.org/roffswaps |

Still access only from rte 9, and I expect we will not live to see
that change. As I have mentioned previously, if you park your car just east of the filtration station on rte 9, (stay a distance away from the no parking signs), and follow the cart road up to the Y-Pool, it is actually an easier walk than it is from the old parking area above the power station. A bit longer, but dead level. At the moment, the flow is about twice the normal high flow, and still rising, so wading access is very difficult. When it gets that high, it takes a very long time to drop.....weeks, not days. -------------= Posted from Ugroups.com =------------- ---= Fast & Free Web Portal to Usenet Newsgroups =--- -------------= http://www.ugroups.com/ =------------- |

And there is an up-side: with everyone having to park at Rt 9, you'll no longer be bushwacked by hoards that parked at the far end of the trail... /daytripper (man it was a beaut of a day today!) |
