Mid-Tenn Classic, Change of Rules
 

After much re-consideration, we have decided to change the limit per boat
from whatever it was, to a 10 fish limit. This of course also means that
each angler can catch and keep 5 bass each.

The second change to the rules is: Spotted bass must be 12" inches or
greater.

Changes to be corrected on the web-site by the end of the day.

Ok, but it's still my understanding that there is a daily 30 fish limit
on Crappies over 10"! :))

Just a reminder fellows, the restaurant doesn't open until Memorial weekend,
so we'll need something to throw on the grille, like Crappies, Walleyes,
etc. The lodge area does have a couple of small grilles outside of the
cabins, so if anyone wants to drag a throwaway grille with them, we'll need
it. Everyone should plan on bringing sandwich stuff for the day, and snacks
from the local grocery stores, and of course anything you care to drink.

You can cook in the cabins but the closest store I know of is a convenience
type store at the entrance to the park.The first time I went over there to
trout fish I thought I would just grab a burger or something,ended up eating
crackers all day.
Fresh trout are available below the dam and can be caught quickly with
salmon eggs.

Does this mean there will be an overall winner?

I take it if I catch 5 bass then a 6th that is bigger I cull my own? Or
would I cull my partners if his were samller than any of my 5? Trophy

it may be cheaper and easier to buy a temp trout license than find a grocery
store. :)

Well that pretty much leaves the Sponge with it's small livewell out
of the running for use during the tourney.
