All I hear is jerkbait,jerkbait,jerkbait.Here on Old Hickory it seems to be
shallow cranking.

Fishing reports around here are about as fictional as Stephen King. Trust
me, I know. But... bass fishing is going to be slow, but the crappie bite is
awesome. I'm still planning on fishing for bass, but if that fails... just
call me a crappie fisherman.

I am almost finished putting the new axle on hte trailer. Axle is
installed, but still have to replace a brake line and install the hubs.
wife says pencil in Clear Lake, Ca next week to check out the campgrounds
for a June trip to fish and watch the CCR revival at Konocti Harbor inn.
She asked if there was anything to fish for now.

Not if you're going to Kilarney. I've never caught a smallmouth in that
lake. Largemouth, northern pike, walleye and crappie are the fish to catch
in that lake.
