"To celebrate the beer bar, The Alström Bros. of the BeerAdvocate.com
have created a list of the top 20 beer bars in America to highlight

United States.

2. Spuyten Duyvil in Brooklyn, New York

if you expect me to believe that this is a credible list, when only one
joint is listed south of the mason-dixon, and none west of the missippi, you
are not the man of accuracy i know you to be.

sheeit far, if them folks was to ever make the scene at "billy's place",
on the banks of ryall's creek, near its mouth, whur it joins up with the
yadkin, in stanley county, n.c., just south of the rowan county line, then
they would understand just wtf a "bar" looks, sounds, and smells like.

and if they showed out with some of that yankee accent bull****, they
might learn a little more than they wanted to know about the surface of the
pool room floor.

yfitp
wayno (that's what *ah'm* talkin 'bout)

It must be one of those dumbass, yuppie beer snob thangs
with ferns and gay waiters, not that there's anything wrong
with that. ;-)

Speaking of accuracy:

12. O'Briens in San Diego, California
17. Toronado in San Francisco, California
20. Lucky Baldwin's in Pasadena, California

all of which, I believe, are west of the Mississippi.

No doubt that is because any one in those states wouldn't want to muck up
their favorite watering hole by advertising it to people that search for
bars on the Internet.

Otherwise, I can't imaging the Rhinoceros (50 mico's on tap) and Charlie's
(words could not do it justice) in Missoula not making the list.

....and 3 of the best in California based on my extensive research. If
the rest of this list is as good as the Cal selections it's a
prettydamn good list.
