What is your all-time favorite pan-fish lure / technique

This is for everyone to reply.

What is your all-time favorite Panfish lure/ technique.
The bait you always turn to, your confidence bait,
your "never miss" bait.
This is for all panfish - Crappie/Bluegill/Pumpkin seed
Yellow perch, etc..
Just give YOUR technique & bait that really works for you.

Thanks

For the Sunfish group, best luck was a worm or cricket on a small bobber
using six pound test. For Crappie my best results have been with a small
curly tail plastic grub (Roadrunner) or like lure.

I troll a small mapes spinner.
I replace the mapes hook with a split ring & a swivel.
I put a leader with a hook and a night crawler on the swivel.
I fill the night crawler with WD-40 .

Just for verification -- Is that a Mepps spinner or is there a spinner called Mapes ?

Mepps makes some awesome spinners

great for trout (rainbow, brook, brown) walleye, northern pike, all
panfish. An all around great line up!!!

But for all that, for me a simple hook/waxworm still produces best for
sunfish and crappie. Also works for bass, though I only catch them by
accident and don't fish for them on purpose, LOL
