Lowrance Base Map - Isn't

The base map in my Lowrance LCX15MT is not a map at all. It kinda...
well... Hoovers.

I did load the maps for my region that were on the MapCreate cd that came
with the unit. Ok, now it has a usable based map. LOL.

I looked at the HotMaps (classic) because the gold or premium doesn't seem
to support my unit, and it look like it only has info on three lakes in my
whole state. Can anybody who has the hotmaps for the west take a look and
tell me if the level of detail for the river between Yuma and Blythe is any
better than the Map Creat maps.

Hey Bob,

I saw the post on Your website! www.YumaBassMan.com

COOL! a Southwestern Event in Yuma on the river!

My Field Service Job is keeping me Flying all over the world and very
busy. I'm in Ohio in Twinsburg repairing a Smart Label Assembly Line A
TAL5000. (RFID Tags) May be here for another two weeks at the most.
I have two Sofeware Developers Flying in from Dresden, Germany to do an
upgrade on the software. If I get back, I would love to attend with my
boat boat as a boater with an Open Seat!

Lake Erie is like an Ocean when the wind kicks up. I can Imagin what
Jack Dazell has to deal with on those windy days.

Regards,

gil

Hey Gilbert.

Long time no hear. Sure you are welcome, but to qualify to fish the YBM
Just For Fun Tournament you have be a registered member of the forum. No
big deal. Just register and post a comment or two whenever you get a
chance. So far looks like five boats for sure and one or two maybes.

Yeah, I know about lake Erie. I've fished walleyes off of Marblehead,
perch out of all over, and white bass of the cliffs (collapsed now) off of
Miller Road Park. I haven't fished the north or east end of the lake, but
it also sports steelhead, lake trout, and salmon. Its a big body of water.
Dangerous too. I've been out on head boats, private craft, and charters.
Everybody keeps an ear open to the radio for any kind of weather alert.
Nobody wants to get caught out in rough weather.

Anyway, good to hear from you. Hope you can make the tournament.

Hello Bob,

thanks for the reply, I did join, with the name "basboatbum" he he"

For My Tool here in Ohio, I ended up picking through the software code
myself through email help and phone calls to Germany. sunday is
looking good for now. need to put in three new batteries and run the
old gas through the motor and clean the boat. I have lots of Faith in
my champion plus, it's got a Merc on it.

For starters I will be throwing my last firetiger secretweapon spinner
bait with the big gold colorado blade (it works). and a few soft jerk
baits.

see you then,

gil
