Zoom Trick Worms don't float, but are commonly referred to as floating worms, perhaps because they have a slower sink rate. I also have another brand (can't remember which brand) of "floating" worm which doesn't float. |

The zoom are great to swim just below the surface like a fluke. The 3x trick worms also float. The 3x and bps are nice for topwater swimmers. I use the zoom mostly, They have great side to side action. if you are fishing cover, rig them texas style with a widegap 1/0 or 2/0 weedless and work it around heavy cover. In open water situations use a 1/0 straght shank worm hook and thread the worm right up the shank with the hook totally exposed. This method is awesome because you'll never miss a hookset. If you want some fun fishing, use a white or pink trick work so you can see it real good. If the bite is tough use the darker worms and it's all about the feel. Hope this helps Dave V |
