Eagle River and Brush Creek

gents,

my brother-in-law is moving in a couple of weeks to eagle, colorado and
we're wondering what kind of gear he'd need for eagle river and brush
creek or any of the other bodies of water nearby. looking for optimal
rod length/weight and any other suggestions about put-ins. any other
info anyone wants to share about the area would be much appreciated.

thanks in advance,
js

9-foot, 5wt, weight-forward line, leader links, 3x-6x tippet.

Jon.

And a helmet...

I lived in Eagle for a couple of years in the early 70's, there was pretty
much nothing in the Eagle valley west of Vail except for a couple of horse
farms. We could ride for a couple of days and not see a soul.

I happened to get a new version of Delorme Street Atlas and saw the sprawl has
taken over the Eagle valley from end to end. Amazing what 30+ years can do...

/daytripper (....and a shame....)
