Houston Chron: Fishing Report 6-22-2005

Beachfront


Galveston Fishing Pier reported good numbers of Spanish mackerel on
live shrimp. Also, a 30-pound king mackerel checked during the day.
Overnight trout action was spotty; scattered fish to 7 pounds, but
stringers were short overall. Conditions were excellent.


San Luis Pass


Pass pier reported good trout action overnight on white jigs or live
shrimp. Some fish on small swimming plugs. Trout held fair into the
morning, along with the occasional Spanish mackerel and a few panfish.
Conditions were good.


Trinity Bay
