The Joy of fishing
I don't know if this is off topic, but I just wanted to share this
picture. THis is the true joy of fishing. Here is a picture of my daughter, with the 11 inch bass she caught using her "tigger" pole and a fathead minnow. We were fishing off the dock for bluegill using night crawlers, and she kept seeing this bass swimming in and out under us, so she decided to get a minnow and try to catch that bass. Of course, after the picture was taken, we released the fish. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v9...ngela-bass.jpg |

She caught it on a Smurf rod and reel similar to your daughters. We pulled it into the boat and when I went to put it in the well she asked what we were going to do with it and of course I said "Take it home and eat it" at which point she started crying "Dont kill it!". She has caught many fish since then but they have ALL gone back into the water. |
Your daughter is doing better than I am. Maybe I need a Tigger pole.

Well thats the way I do if I see a bass I throw what ever I got at it.
Because them things are fun to catch and good to eat. I like to fillet them and them deep fry them in some homemade breading then eat them |
