All postings must be about fly fishing exclusively as been the long and
honored tradition of ROFF. Any deviation from the posting guidelines will
result in severe penalties.

This is the creepy scumbag from Hook and Sinker that
I was telling you guys about.

The rof.bass group beat this nitwit like a rented mule
and now he's trolling around here.

Please be nice to him, he's had a rough day. ;-)

Jon Cook put together a faq and it can be read at:

Chris:
You forgot to summarize the costs. I can remember being blindsided by the
membership fee the first year. I'm bringing up the fee structure again at
the next Rules Committee meeting! You f'ing west coasters are running the
east coasters into the ground. I'm thinking it's time to bring up the split
into roffe and roffw again...

To say nothing of the indirect costs entailed by the dress code.

I just keep my webcam aimed at my latest issue of GQ. Most of
the models look pretty much like me, using a low-res camera.

Kevin,
who fished all day last Sat. in bedroom slippers, because he
forgot to put on shoes before leaving the house.

Well, that's a problem. Some general rules: If you step in something
that reminds you of organic things, scrape it off your shoe and go
onto something you understand better in another thread. If it's
organic and kicks you, consider whether or not to make a form of
apology (as long as you're new, direct apologies are considered mostly
okay.)

Look up a month of winter postings (when too many of us are cabin
crazy) on deja.com before posting.

Tread carefully. We like things that blow up real good.

OTOH, if you're a wonderful person, don't bother with any of the
above. Most of us will be fine in return. Your best bet might be to
show up at a Clave before ever posting. For some reason we're almost
all a good deal nicer in real life.

DO NOT TRY TO SELL US THINGS.

Deja is dead, long live google groups.

By the way, top posting (answering by putting your comments at the top of
the reply) is frowned upon. It's much easier to read the initial comments
and then read yours at the bottom. We like bottoms.
