We need more great writer like this?

Obviously someone who spends a great deal of time
involved in outdoor activities.

I think they were just stupid or clueless, I don't
think they were doing it just to mess us up. They came back by again
about ten minutes later.

Plainly an intellectual of high caliber with truly
intuitive insight into human character and ability..

I started to try to hook one but was afraid I
would miss the dumb mamma and hit the 2 year old, I knew he was not at
fault.

Truly astute observation. The woman probably exposed
her dumbness via a low caveman like forehead, slack jaw
emitting saliva, broad nose and pig-like eyes. The child was
probably still covered in the baby fur he was born with. and
gnawing a bone as he rode upon his mother's back. Hitting
them with a hook and line would not have been the smart
would it.

As feared there were two folks waiting to put in and two trucks on the
ramp at 1:00 PM.

Expecting to wait, but ****ed off when it actually
comes to fruition...Amazing.

One idiot in a jeep played with his boat trying to get
it on the trailer for about 15 minutes while the person next to him
loaded his boat.

This lake must be a Mecca for the illiterate. I can
only assume the person with the jeep was sitting in his boat
making motor noises with his lips as if he were in a super
racing yacht.

As the one pulled out a guy in the parking lot backed
into the ramp, jumping ahead of the two of us waiting in line.

Perhaps he was some big shot writer with a deadline.

If I had been in my truck rather than Brad’s he would have had to hit me because
I would have pulled directly behind him. I have done that to people
breaking in line before.

Now the intelligence level of this lake is truly
showing itself. You certainly belong on this lake fellah.

While watching the idiot in the jeep play with his boat I noticed the
guy that broke in line was in a bass boat

Able to tell one boat from another...A point in your
favor.

By now the
jeep nut had pulled up till his boat just cleared the water and he
yelled for his herd of kids to load up.

Must have been more fury children low on the human
ladder of evolution.

I bet he piddled around for
another 15 minutes checking things and tying down while blocking the
ramp.

Apparently this nut is a boater concerned about the
safety. What if he hadn't spent the extra time making all
secure and you wrecked on the highway due to something
bouncing from his boat.

I finally yelled a few choice words at him and I guess it
embarrassed him in front of his wife and kids, he finally left.

You just lost the point in your favor you received
above. Again the intelligence of the self-righteous writer
leaks to a lower level from his own pen.

The nut in the bass boat was still trying to load. The guy ahead of me
pulled up and told me to go ahead - said he was not in a hurry. I guess
my yelling made him want me to get gone.

Only those with manners and courtesy recognize kindness
when it comes. Those without such see themselves in others
so much so that decent things are done only out of
frustration or for ones own pleasure. Oops...a little more
intellect down the tube.

As I left the parking lot the guy in the bass boat
was still parked on the ramp and he was still trying to load

It would never occur to such a man that some people are
new to boating even if they do own a bass boat. It would
never occur to such a man that a family may only get one
holiday a year when they get to use their boat and are not
as experienced as a guy who writes about the outdoors but
will never come to know it's secret.
The first thing that one must do to truly appreciate
that around him is patience. When patience comes you
experience the peace of simply being in the outdoors. When
you truly experience the outdoors you will want to share it
with others and to make their experience more enjoyable.
Maybe it will be by helping someone less experienced load
their boat, or talking to a herd of kids about how they
enjoyed fishing with their daddy, and not hearing them tell
about the red faced idiot sitting in his boat in a huff
spouting choice words.

Perhaps I'm just one of those dumb, nuts, or idiots,
who try's to have an enjoyable weekend in the outdoors
regardless of the intellectual asses that happen to be
there.

I think Chuck the point Ronnie was trying to make is that each of the
players he mentioned seemed to disregard or ignore basic common courtesies.
The jet skier should know better than to run that close to others, the ramp
intruder is obvious. I've assisted many trying to put their boats onto a
trailer, but none who butt into line to do so. And no one can argue about a
guy trying to properly secure his boat, while managing a herd of children,
but Ronnie's point was that he was doing it AT THE RAMP. Nothing's more
irritating than someone tying up a ramp when there's people trying to launch
and trying to take out, especially on a hot day when tempers and patience
may flare. Surely you could see thie point Ronnie was making. If not. . .

Everything you say is right...but there are inconsiderate people
everywhere. You meet them at the bank, in the parking lot, at Wally
World, at the beach...everywhere you go. All of one's inpaitence with
them is for naught...they seldom change. And to let them ruin your day
is their ultimate victory. If someone is just unfamiliar with something,
and is fumbling around, it is usually fairly obvious, and it easy to not
only overlook it, but to help them. The rest are never worth the trouble
to get upset with their inconsideration...just smile and be happy you
are fortunate enough to be doing what you are doing...in ths case
