Strawberries
 

I am always on the lookout for unusual baits to use and last week had some
good runs on bananas (no fish) and cockles (one eel). Danish Blue cheese got
me a 3lb Chub and4lb Bream the week before and the week before that
Cathedral City cheese and pepperami got us 8 chub betwwen 3-4lb and I also
had a 9lb common.
Has anyone had any success with Strawberries? I would be delighted to hear

not strawberries but blackberries, had some nice carp using them at one
lake, there used to be a blackberry bush overhanging the water, i can only
guess they fell in and the carp being inqusitive snaffled them up and got
used to them.

Never tried strawberries but witnessed carp caught on cloves of garlic!
(they float too, so it may have been the popup effect)
