Thanks Warren and Some Sneak Peeks
Warren, you were an outstanding, host, clavemiester, guide and all
around good guy. Thanks also to your friend Sabrina- very understanding. I appreciate the river trip and am telling people of your ability to walk across bowling ball sized rocks, under 18 inches of fast moving water. You did that like you were walking down mainstreet. Very impressive. The only thing more impressive is your demeanor as a guide- highly supportive, accomodating, and interested in people having a good time. Thanks again. Here are a few picks while we wait for the others to be assimilated. http://community.webshots.com/myphot...umID=399583750 |

Here's some I put on photobucket myself. I took very few pictures, but
the snake eating the sculpin is pretty cool. http://photobucket.com/albums/b284/ninefootfiveweight/? bruce h (Bevin actually took the snake photo - I posed the snake) |

(Bevin actually took the snake photo - I posed the snake) That's a nice shot! I wasn't willing to get that close. (Whatta yellow? Why yes, yes I am....) I saw no less than four snakes eating fish on this trip. I think I've seen maybe one other one in my life. I interrupted a small snake with a large sculpin halfway down and felt guilty watching the wee thing struggle to scurry away into the brush. Later that day, some other folks at the Slide Inn mentioned seeing several other snakes with sculpins. The sculpins must be a MAJOR food source. Wonder if it's only a seasonal thing...... Some cool shots, Bruce. Thanks. |
