does mildew / moldy smell hurt leaders?

This is actually a real question.

I keep my leaders in their original paper packaging (mostly Orvis
SuperStrong Nylon, some frog's hair, a couple of flourocarbons), and
then keep these packages in a little pouch inside my trusty fishing
bag. I often get the bag wet, which gets the paper packaging wet. It
eventually dries out, but it's got a tiny bit of a permanent
moldy-mildewy smell, no doubt from the repeated soakings and being kept
wet for days on end. It's minor, the smell itself doesn't bother me...
but I just want to make sure that this isn't somehow hurting my
leaders.
(And if it is -- how does anyone else carry their leaders?)

Thanks, Tim

Don't worry about it. It isn't a problem.
