fly-2000 software
 
has anyone purchased this software to catalogue their fly recipes? Any
comments?

I got it with the intention of cataloging all of my flies. Takes a lot of
work. I also have some problems with it as many parts are hard wired into
the program and there is no way to change ingredients. Lastly, I would love
to publish flies patterns as HTML or a word doc. Can't do it. Yes, you can
print them out. but thats it.
After three months of frustration, I just go back to my books and use them.

Will answer here as my email is not working, though the news server is.
I looked it up. Go to their web site, http://www.fly-2000.net/ and you can
order it by sending them an international money order.



If I had time, I would learn Java and write a program to do it. If you want
screen shots, I can send them.
