Thanks Tim. There *were* practical reasons for promptness this SWap,
however. School started today......and the first couple of weeks of school
are crazy. My vise may cool off for a couple of weeks while things calm
down.

And it's not even Christmas shopping season, much less time for
carols.

Get a spare keyboard. Put yours in the dishwasher upside down and
turn off the heat and run it through a cycle. Let it dry upside down
for 3 or 4 days. Odds are it'll be good as before the spill.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. This "technique" could
have saved the University of Illinois a lot of money back
when keyboards cost serious money and coffee spills were
common.

Not to jump in on Cyli's advise, however this is how our customer return
department took care of keyboards that were returned for repair. Just make
sure it's completely dry before using.
