any views on fore mark trout fishery now allowing the
use of any method ie spinning, float fishing with bait

I don't know the place but in general when you pay for your ticket you agree
to abide by whatever rules the proprietor defines (within the law).

Maggots are not the best bait for trout btw, bread is almost always better
or a nice plump minnow.
