Heading to north alabama, want a few bass fishing stops along the way

Gentlemen...
I am heading to chattanooga, TN from Montgomery Alabama this friday.
I am a bass fishing nut so of course I always have my tackle and rods
in my truck...

I am wondering if there are a few places I can stop off and do some
bass fishing off the bank on my way up to chattanooga, since I only
have an alabama fishing license and all....

I was thinking along the lines of the talladega area or maybe even
gadsden alabama.

thanks in advance!

Stop at the Camper sales site on the left of North I-65 , the one with
the lake, I've caught some good bass out of that lake , i pretended I
was interested in one of their mobile homes :-)

Drive up to Dayton, TN (25 miles from Chattanooga), drive over to the lake
and get a one day $6.00 liscence and fish off the bank, well worth it.

Rodney..
you mean you walk on site... say "Im really interested in a trailer...
but, let me cast a few first."?

cant i assume they would see through that and isnt it private property
(not that private property has ever stopped me )

"They" own it,, and heck it worked for me, but I guess me giving the
salesmen a bunch of free tackle didn't hurt :-)

I believe it's south, but not by much,, you can't miss it, the exit you
take, is right past it heading north
