Falcon Rod Question

I broke my 6'10" Falcon Lowrider and I really liked it so I would like to
purchase another Falcon rod. Is moving up to the cara rod worth the extra
money? Any other rod recommendations in that price range are welcome. I am
looking to use the rod for jigs and worms.

Thanks,
Pat_RI

I don't know what to recommend because I don't know what that Falcon rod
costs. Let me know what price range you're looking at and maybe then I can
make a recommendation.

Go to http://www.stcroixrods.com and check out the Avid series of rods. For
a tad more, the Legend Tournament series is nothing short of phenomonal.
I've built several rods using those blanks and I'm impressed with the light
weight of the blank, the sensitivity and (so far), the durability.

The Avid rods have been a mainstay of my mid-range rods for years, but this
new series impresses me.

I have three Avid rods and one legend Tournament rod. They are very nice to
fish with.
