Speckled /brookie trip
I am looking for a modest trip to catch Speckled Trout
and/or sea/lake run Brookies. Geography of Ontario and eastern provinces of Canada. |
J,
Always wanted to catch wild Atlantic Provinces salmonids, but never wanted to spend the $4,000 to do it? Find out why it's nearly impossible to fish the Atlantic Provinces unguided, and the a href="http://www.findfish101.com/2005/08/canada-report-100105.html"loopholes in case you try/a. There really isn't much info out there. I wrote about it on my site, FindFish101.com. The department of fisheries just finally got back to me after a few weeks. Depending on where you live, it's worth checking into the Great Lakes. I think the streams coming off the north side of Lake Superior are supposed to be amazing for lake-run trout, and at ice-out, I hear even the lake trout come up. |
