A Nice Columbus Day

The company I work for follows the government holiday schedule, as such, I
had the day off today. Lucky me!

Went out on the Potomac and back up into Aquia Creek. A good spot but
sometimes tough to fish due to heavy boat traffic. No such traffic today
however.

Was fishing a 4" red flake lizard and around 10:00am had a nice "tug" on the
line. That nice tug turned into a 5lb 5oz bass! Nice for any area, really
nice for this fishery!

Not a bad way to spend a day off, and very nice on the 5 pounder!
