Good Times

Got to spend the last 2 days fishing, well at least yesterday I put in
some time. I fish from 7am till 6:30pm yesterday. I did manage a limit
of smallies and countless dinks, and got into some fun white bass
action. My longest smallie yesterday was 18.25, but this fish must have
been sick. It barely weighed 2 or 2.5lbs. Beautiful colors, and didn't
have a mark on it, but you could see its spine, and its stomach was
absolutely collapsed, almost as if it had just spawned!

I also caught a 17" fish, that probably went about 3lbs (pictures to
follow very soon!). So needless to say yesterday was a fun day.

Some friends wanted to wake me up at 5am this morning then to go catch
some walleye on the famed Fox River in Green Bay. Well we fished from
6am to 9am (37 degrees this morning with a north wind at 5 to 10mph).
So I tortured them by running wide open to our first spot. (I only have
a single counsel :-). Well we managed 13 fish in those 3 hours, with
the smallest being 16" and the largest being 21 (I caught both of those
fish), I managed 7 of the 13, but it would have been a blast either way.
You gotta love the fall, big fish eating non-stop, find the baitfish
and you find the fish, so far that has held true :-).

Forgot to mention, one of the walleye I caught this morning was tagged.
That is my first tagged fish ever. "Steve" , do you know if I send
the tag in to get the info if they will send the tag back?

Pretty sweet,

Chris

Just send the information from the tag. If you request it, they will send
you a report on the fish. Keep the tag for a momento.
