True To Color Synthetic Dubbings

I'm interested in members' thoughts on synthetic dubbings that remain
most true to color when wet. I have problems in that I've purchased
dubbing packs that are in the color I want and find that the color
deepens considerably when wet. The result is a fly body that is much
darker than I want it to be.

Before tying this winter I will test all my packs (way too many after
25 years of tying) to see which brands seem most true to color when
wet. This will help with the dubbing I have, but I'd like some
guidance for future purchases when I can't wet before buying.

Thanks,
Jeff

for dry flies, WaterShed pretreating greatly reduces color change as it
stops the dubbing from getting wet.
