Fishing round Houston Area
 
Hello,

I will be visiting Houston from the UK in the next two weeks and have a
day to spend fishing, I will be taking a couple of spinning rods and
some lures with me, can anyone recommend some spots to fish from the
shore either lake or sea or maybe somewhere to hire a canoe or row
boat?

Any advice will be appreciated including what lures to use.

My advice: Dont forget to stop by and pick up your one or three day
liscence. Texas Game and Fish are hell on people fishing without a liscence
AND THEY DO CHECK. Probably the best place for you to go, not knowing the
Houston are would be Lake Houston. Its only about 20 miles outside the city.
