I haven't heard anything, but I'm planning on being in the Yellowstone area the
1st 2 weeks of September anyway.

Nothing ironclad as yet. Mr. Knight has put in a request to encompass the
opening of grouse season......typically around the middle of September if
memory serves. No other preferences have been stated.

How about an evening (or lunch) of pulled pork barbecue sandwiches at UP
Chucks?

.. . . I'm a man of simple preferences....

Well, I won't speak for the North Carolianian contingent, but I have no
objections. Besides, as you know (and as does anyone else who's been there)
our options are......um......restricted.

And those of us who are simple know (and appreciate) that we have benefited
thereby. :)

Well, there is a chance that I may become a mid-westerner again by the

Might (its in the early stages) be going back to Omaha. Found out that
Offutt AFB is 1052 miles from Coburn, PA and also 1052 miles from West
Yellowstone, MT.
Might put a serious crimp in blasting up to Coburn for a weekend, but
might still do it.
