Wiretaps said to sift all overseas contacts
Vast US effort seen on eavesdropping
From the Boston Globe: http://tinyurl.com/8yx2z "They have a capacity to listen to every overseas phone call," said Tom Blanton, director of the National Security Archive at George Washington University, which has obtained documents about the NSA using Freedom of Information Act requests. It seems that the technology has developed somewhat since LaCourse worked for the NSA. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |

Google "Echelon" Yeah, I know about Echelon. You can safely bet that any overseas call you make is scanned for keywords by voice recognition software. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if every domestic call were scanned, or at least that's the direction we're heading. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |

The Rhyolite satellites could pick out Russian words and pharases from the microwave channels they monitored. The FBIs carnivore program does the same to your email. If your setting in your Onstrar equiped GM vehicle they can not only track where you are they can listen at will. |

So I'm not worried. Not one little bit. Those Islamofascists better watch out, though. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |

Speaking of Bushisms, there was this beauty I caught on the Daily Show a couple of weeks ago: "It's hard to imagine Osama enjoying something as beautiful as Chanukah." |

As long as you have a spare room or two in your house you might as well quarter a few soldiers as well. |
