Winter Bait

Hi,
Going out to do a bit of river fishing tomorrow, Barbel or Chub would be
nice to catch, any idea what the best bait for this really cold snap would
be?
Cheers Tight Lines

Winter Bait

Cheese Paste, although you cannot go wrong with a big lump of breadflake. I
use Tesco cheap brand as it stays on the hook ok.
I expect you know how to present it.
Don't forget some Lobworms if the river is pummeling through.
Good luck let us know how you get on.
Colin.
