How to make tarpon leaders

Never been Tarpon fishing before.
But I'm headed that way in 3 weeks.

I made a bunch of tarpon flies. That was easy.
But I can't find a good site on the net that explains
how to make the leaders. I suppose I could go to Amazon.com
and buy a book. But I'd like to log on tonight and see how
to do it (I bought rolls of 30, 40, 60 and 80lb flourocarbon).

I have a Lefty Krey book that shows how to make a bimini twist.
But where it goes and who attaches to who with various mixtures
of albright and hufnagle knots at what length and pound test
is elusive.

I could wing it. But I'd like a good source.
Anybody know how, or where to look for this?

This is the way I tie them, and I'm sure I got the instructions from one of
Lefty's books but can't remember which one:

Tie a bimini twist into both ends of your 'class' leader - 16-20# test - make
the leader about 15". Tie a double surgeons loop in one end of the class leader
and use this loop to attach the class leader to a loop in a 4-5' butt section of
40# test line. Use a Huffnagle knot to tie the other end of the class leader to
a piece of 80# test bite tippet. I think for IGFA records the class tippet has
to be at lead 15" and the bite tippet 12" or less. I use a Homer Rhode Loop knot
to tie on the fly. I rig up fly/leader combinations and change flies by looping
the rig I want to the butt section.

I bought "Tarpon on Fly" by Don Larmouth and Rob Fordyce.
This is an informative, well-written no-nonsense book.
Covers all knots, from reel spool all the way out to the fly.

I thought it was a "non slip loop knot" at the fly. bruce h

I think the Homer Rhode loop is easier to tie in 60 and 80# tippet, but the non
slip loop is just as good.
