Does anyone have any experience with these rods, or the Shikari blanks
they are made from?
Thanks
Dan

Never heard of this particular rod "artist" before, but based on the
poor and/or blurry pictures of what appeared to be only two rods, I
didn't see anything particularly difficult to do, and it didn't appear
to be done all _that_ well. The wrapping and other, er, decoration
wasn't to my taste regardless of his skill (or lack thereof), but that's
why there is chocolate and vanilla.

A couple of thoughts:

1. If he takes the same care finishing rods as he did producing or at
least proofing his website, his work can't be all that great, but...

2. A amateurish website with errors and blurry pictures doesn't
absolutely reflect upon his rod-finishing skills or ability.

If it were me, I'd want to see examples in person before I ordered one
unless the price was such that it was worth it for the parts alone - as
always, YMMV.

R

Thanks for the advise. I am new to fly fishing gear and there are so
many options it is a little confusing.
