which make of outboard to buy???

I am after a new 20 or 25 hp 2 stroke motor and need to know if there
is any makes to stay away as far as mechanical trouble goes. Thanks ED

Buy a brand that you can get serviced locally. The few that are left
all put out a good product.

too bad the E-tecs only go down to 40 hp.
I think I have watched too many of their commercials on OLN

It is tricky, if you buy a Yamaha, it might have been made at Merc, or a Evinrude, might be made at Suzuki.

All the major mfg's now make a great motor. Get one from a place you can get good service and support from close to your home.
