My grandson Jordan, who is 12 years old is fishing on the National Bass
West team circuit now. Naturally, I am a proud grandpa :). John decided
he didn't have enough to do with just fishing the ABA, the WON team, and
the Miller High Life pro circuits, so he decided to team with Jordan in
the National Bass West circuit too. John's sponsers made up a complete
outfit for Jordan, shirt, jacket and cap (You can't imagine the grin he
had on his face the first tournament). They have fished 3 of the 7
tournaments for the 2005-2006 season. They are 10th overall in the
standings right now, out of 71 teams. John told me that when Jordan
caught his first "professional" bass, there were quite a few boats
around the area, and they all gave Jordan a standing ovation....I don't
think the "cap" fit his head for a while after that :).

They fish as the team...J. Kerr & J. Kerr, I wish they had a tournament
schedule that featured threesomes, we could be, J. Kerr, J. Kerr, &
J.Kerr grin.

If we could get all the kids in the world to take up fishing, the world
would be a whole bunch better for the effort!
