They sliced my eyeball open this morning and implanted
one of these:

http://www.amo-inc.com/site/products/phacoflex2.asp

So that's more than 5 million and one. :-)

Left eye in three weeks, three weeks for that to heal,
should be just enough time for me and Kipper to hit
Minnesota winter season before it closes on March 31.

So far so good, and thanks for all the good thoughts.

When you get the next eye done, since you're in the doctor's office and
all, you might also consider a pair of neuticles.

Not yet, my pupil is still dime-sized from the dilating drugs,
maybe later today.

Since you may still be a little less than par, eyesight-wise, I'm typing
slowly for ya - here's hoping things go well and you get well...so, OK,
return to normal...soon. I remember when my SO had her Lasik done, and
it took her a day or two to get we..., um, return to normal - is this
similar?

I got to watch the procedure, and it was amongst the damndest things I'd
ever seen...at least in the category of "matter-of-fact,"
quasi-deli-counter type stuff - that eye slicer thing was, well, freaky.

Well, once he gets his lines memorized, he should be ready to start
posting on roff.

And we can assume you've already passed down the family heirloom "Vote

Um, wouldn't be easier just to bring Ken in for the role? Well, no,
that wouldn't be fair to Anthony...maybe Ken can be an understudy or
Anthony can go study up - Ken can be sort of like an even more
curmudgeonly Lee Strasberg or something...

TC,
R
OTOH, he might come back having caught something horrible...like a taste
for Bud...
