What mono to use??????

If I were to try a mono line for one or two of my spinning reels what
would you recommend? I have the extra spools so I could have them on
hand if I need to switch from the 10lb Power Pro that I usually use.
Thanks in advance (I think?)

With mono line I'm rather partial to plain old Original Stren. Clear
blue fluorescent for night fishing and low-vis green for most other
applications.

Use the Yozuri Hybrid, they have it in smoke and green, by far the best
mono( type?) line out there. It's really tough and is a steal at 13.00 for
600 yds

Stren? Yo-Zuri? I didn't like either of them and unlike those other guys,
I use spinning tackle 100% of the time (no offense meant guys). So far
after trying about a dozen different lines, I have found that my favorite is
P-Line Floroclear. I use it in 10 pound test and it's pretty good. It's a
copolymer. It practically disappears under water due to the fluorocarbon
outside and nice and soft due to it's mono core. It casts great, has less
stretch, and doesn't try to un-spool itself on spinning tackle. I fish lots
of clear water, I prefer it, and this is the best line I've found so far.
Stay away from Izorline for spinning tackle too. I hear it's good on a
baitcaster, but it will not lay down on a spool for me.

I used P-Line Flouroclear for a while. It is good line. I found though
that the lamination wouldstart to flkae off after a day of hard use. I use
Seaguar now for most of my plastic line aplications except topwater. For
that I tend towards Suffix or Big Game.

For most of my fishing though I like to use Stren Super Braid.

P.S. Maxima has a new braid coming out. A buddy of mine who is working on
a pro staff deal with them showed me a sample. Very very smooth.

Kevin,

I know you said mono, but you should really check out Seaguars new
Invis-X. It is a little pricey, but for a pure fluoro that casts the
way it does, you'd be pretty happy.
