Spring is not my favorite time, here in Arnoldland. It's definitely
sprung, all the trees are blossomed, the air temp must be about 70 right
this minute, and it's sunny and inviting. But my eyes itch, burn, and
run, my nose is too clogged for breathing ... yuk

But there is the menacing of bird flu with the migrating
birds coming to Finland from the central Europe where
the bird flu has been detected already.

Finland is prepared for this bird flu. But it may cause problems
here anyway.

McIntosh sights --spring just over the hill in N.C. - but in last two
days migrating birds have arrived----red-wing blackbirds- goldfinches-
cowbirds-- robins ---along with the locals [three types of woodpeckers
right now ] my back yard is engrossing.


should get the spring warblers in a couple of weeks but the arrival of
our summer visit of the painted bunting is the highlight of our spring.
