Disassembling a rod

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to detach the blank of a rod from the grip
and reel seat. I have a Temple Fork rod that I'd like to put a Struble
nickel-silver reel seat on...

Thanks,

Roland

Sure... just take a razor blade, or better yet a hack saw and you.....

Huh? Oh.... you want to use the rod again...

In that case...

Roland: go to this site and look for the search box -- you will get
lots of help from past postings. And you can enter a new question -- I
think most approaches will involve heat to soften the epoxy to get the
old seat off.
