What's this about you and I campin' and fishin' in April? You wanna let me
in on the dates?

I fished with Uncle Wally on the Catawba yesterday. Caught one nice size
brown and have one bigger brown break me off. Lost my best emergin' caddis
pattern. The caddis flyz were comin' off all day like a horizontal snow
fall--well, it look more like snow comin' at yer headlights in the dark
kinda thingy.

Walt promised me a thousand fish day, but the trout had other plans. Still
a nice day over all. However, I'd rather have been on Upper Cre_k!

dates not set yet... but, about a month ago, you and i set upon a plan
to camp on uuc above the gtt for an april weekend to be set on short
notice. my plan is to come up one late thursday or early friday in april
when weather and work allow...we'll go down gtt, walk upstream, make
camp...fish. you were gonna bring the cooler and carry my beer and ice,
as well as arrange for three cooked meals...as i recall. what?? ...you
so smitten with some 33 year-old industrial debutante that you've
forgotten our vitally important recreation? bring her along... but get
your priorities and camping gear in order.

Yes we did, but unfortunately, none of them liked caddis flyz! And how
about my prize winnin' floatin' streamer? No one told me that I should add
weight to a streamer to get it to sink :~^ ( Oh well, that failed tie just
gives me reason to tie another bunch of streamers, but this time I'll weight
the bastids.

Not in the spring......going to Philadelphia (gonna be a jenyoowhine T.V.
producer for a show starring two of ROFF's finest!).....not in the
fall.....got the second annual UPYERS scehduled for September. What's
summer like in them mountains?
