Pond Fishing - Today

Hello All,

I just got invited to fish a private pond here in western NY. It has
been stocked with brown trout and maybe a few rainbows. It is 25
degrees now, supposed to go up to 35 today, and it is sunny. I don't
know much about pond fishing. The thing is a man made pond about an
acre in size, maybe 10 feet deep or so. Any tips on patterns and
techniques?

Think heavy and slow - maybe weighted Woolly Buggers. This time of year you
may have to tap 'em a few times before they'll react. :)
