minnow plug
 

Last few outings i've been using a medium sized minnow plug and had some great
success. The plug runs shallow so there is few if any snags or none at all. I
can run it close to the shore and pick off the shoreline fish. The fish really
hit it with intensity. I frequently jerk it to give it sideways tracking like
a lame minnow . It sure is fun sticking fish with this presentation. I'm
determined to find the best off the rack rod to compliment this technique.
