I have been looking and like 2 Garmin models so far, well actually I
like a lot of them but these two intrige me. 340C depthfinder and
GPSMAP 276C.

What do you know about them? Do you think they would be a good
choice? What combination would you pick?

All opinions welcome.

Personally, I wouldn't get a unit that was GPS and Fish Finder. I'd buy them
both separately.

If one fails, you don't have to replace both of them... and I can turn off
the FF if I think it's scaring my fish. (Never really thought that way, but
have fished with people that did)

Just something to think about.

I did not know I pick one unit. I thought they were a depth finder,
340C and a GPS 276C. I'll have go back and double check. Maybe I
wrote the wrong numbers down.

Thanks
