flies for stripers

Out side of Lefty's deceiver, what is the most common type of fly folks use
for catching stripers.
I have been tying deceivers, but they don't seem to be producing like I
want.

Have a look here, some great tiers show their patterns in videos, also some
great vids of fish blitzing beaches, will really get you in the mood to
start your season. I don't fly-fish, but I do tie my own teasers/deceivers
that I use ahead of my main lures, and get about half my fish on them
