Question about Eyesight?
I've getting at that age where I either have to hold my lure 2-feet away
from me to thread my line through a lure's eyelet, or tilt my head down and look over the top of my glasses. Yeah, yeah, I know they make bifocals, just fighting that last step. But my real question is to those that have gone through or are going through this step in life. I am also noticing I'm loosing a little depth perception too. I'm missing targets only by a hair, but missing them none the less. When pitching, I'm not stopping the lure quick enough, resulting in a splash vs a wave. It's like my depth perception is off just a little. Did you experience this as well when the old eyes started giving out on you, or do I need to go to a eye doctor? -- Craig Baugher Be Confident, Focused, but most of all Have FUN! |

You can adjust if you keep up with the correct prescription in your glasses.
If you don't take the appropriate steps there isn't much you can do when things aren't exactly where you see them. My dad had this happen when his eyesight started to change. It really threw off his billards game until he started keeping up with his prescription. -- Public Fishing Forums Fishing Link Index www.YumaBassMan.com webmaster at YumaBsssMan dot com "Craig Baugher" wrote in message news:Lutnc.13196$z06.2231309@attbi_s01... Question about Eyesight?
yes, Craig, I noticed a change in depth perception. I have a slight
astigmatism --- the eye Dr says I really don't need eyglasses, but wrote me a mild prescription. Regardless of what he says, the glasses make a huge difference while ready and tying. Before you go bi-focal, check out the flip down magnifiers they sell to fly fisherman for $20. Question about Eyesight?
Bifocals are the answer for me. Real ones, with a step, not the transition
things. I tried those and had a headache for a week. RichZ© www.richz.com/fishing |

Go to the doctor, ever consider that new fangled eye surgery?

Question about Eyesight?
The transitional are the way to go. They take some getting use to, but if
your eyes are anywhere like mine, I have several distances I'm out of focus. When I talked to my doctors about my aches and pains, I told him. "If this if a preview of the golden age, I don't think I like it". His response was, "Well it beats the alternative". Can't argue with that. -- Bill Chesapeake, Va "Craig Baugher" wrote in message news:Lutnc.13196$z06.2231309@attbi_s01...
