I just called the Pier II and she said no problem, love to have us again.
She said to call about February and let her know how many rooms to block off
and she'll set up the reservation part.

My first vote is for Lake Fork, but I'll most defently try to make it
to FL this time! I still have that picture of the 13 1/2lb LM that got
off my buzzbait, when Joe and I went down there with Moe for a guided
trip. Remember that Joe? My luck as usual; fish getting off some how!

Can't wait!!

Guys I learned a lot! THANKS!!!

FORK! Did somebody say Fork? I could make it there! (heck, I'm trying
to figure out how many pop bottles I'd have to collect to make it to
the Big "O")

I'd like to fish Lake Fork too, but everything that I've heard about the
lake is that it's a great lake for big bass, but for sheer numbers, it's not
as good as Okeechobee. I could be wrong on that, but I've fished Okeechobee
on more than one occasion and have done well there on "average" size bass,
caught a fair number over five pounds and have had legitimate 10+ pounders
on. It's only been my screwup that has prevented me from having a double
digit bass on the wall.

But heck, where ever the Southern Classic is held, if it's possible, I'll be
there.

Oh yeah, Henry, start saving pop bottles........

When I used to work for a living, I fished Fork a couple of times. Worked
for Texas Instruments, and would stay an extra day when I had to go to
Dallas. Never caught big fish, but have caught a lot of small to medium
fish. Wind can be a major problem on the lake. Rooms are resonable. Used
to pay $50 a night in Alba, and that was about 2001. I think the giant bass
are a lot fewer than the early years. Lot of tourny's when it was hot
weather.
