Penns Clave- Meal Anyone?

I was talking with Penns Clave Meister Tom this past long weekend. I
told him that I would be willing to prepare dinner one night at the
Penns Clave. Now, I am not a person who likes to wait and eat a huge
meal at 10 PM. So what I am offering is- an early dinner, when the
fishing isn't so good- say 5 PM. We could eat and you could be back
on the water, completely geared up, and ready to fish by 6:15. Now I
am willing to do this but I do not want to go to the trouble and people
not show up. BUT, I also understand that committing to something that
sounds like a schedule or structure during a vacation can be pretty
repulsive to some people.

So, if you'd be interested in a dinner at say 5 PM one day, post and
let me know. If you are not interested in such a meal, then post and
let me know that too. Once I know if there's interest, hopefully,
picking a day will not be a big deal.

Look forward to the entire week.

I was sort of viewing it that way as well......you will be
sorely missed by all, however(with the probable exception of the pedestrian
duck populace).

Sorry you will not be there. No surprise as you were pretty sure of
your plans wrt the Penns Clave when we were out west last year.

I'd show. Hell a free meal is a free meal. I'd eat anything you made
Gene as long as it wasn't moose **** pie.

When I was a kid, somebody brought a pie on a graham cracker crust
to my dad's office. One of the guys remarked that he liked graham
cracker crusts so much that he would even eat moose **** if it were
served on one. That very weekend, the old man and I were out in
the woods to find a fresh pile of moose ****, and, ... well, you
can probably guess the rest of the story.

You've got to be kidding Kevin. That's part of a punch-line from a
very old joke.
