Pine Creek?

For the Pennsylvanians on the board.....
Heading up to Tioga County tomorrow. Anyone know how big Pine is holding
up? Is it high and muddy or holding it's own? I don't think they got as
much rain as the SW region of Pennsylvania.

my guess,Allen, is that it is high and muddy. The central part of the state
probably got a bit less rain than the East or West, but still plenty....and
Pine drains a huge watershed, and will be the most likely to get unfishably
high. Feeders should be fine by the weekend.

Go Upstream, like Galeton area, and above. Upper Pine is good water, and
the feeders too albeit the fish may be a bit smaller. Check Cedar Run and
Slate Run too if Pine is too Muddy.

The one thing you've got going for you is that the water was very low to
start with, that with the underground aquifers running good, the water
should clear up pretty quick.
