Penn's Clave, expected hatches

Looks like a real good bug year at Penn's, plus the long range forecast
calls for a string of partly cloudy days with little or no rain from
Saturday on into next week. Bugs to expect:
Sulfurs, several yellow bugs in the range of #14-18
larger ones tend to be orange in color
Grey Fox, #12
March Brown, #10-plus
Mahogany Duns #16 possible
All can produce really fishable spinner falls.
Also, Tan Caddis in #14-16 are out in decent numbers,
along with lighter colored craneflies.
Finally, by weeks-end next week, I think the Drakes will be on. These bugs,
for those not used to them are a legit
#6 in size. This should be a good fishing week......I look
forward to seeing one and all!!!
Tom
p.s. my guess is also that the black-fly hatch should be
intense. A word to all to remember bug repellent of
choice.

Frankie look at what this move has done to you now we have to where ear
muffs inside.......You can't buy a hatch.....You can't even walk
right.........Me thinks you got the dreaded omaha-no-hatch-illness only
know cure is Penns clave......I just got back from a funeral don't make
me come to omaha for another one although I'd only have to be there 3
days and I could spread your ashes in Penns Creek on the way back save
Brenda the hassle of trying to get you a military funeral............

Just a bad case of cabin fever. I've been doing long days and then
spending my weekends unpacking and getting this rental house in shape.
Yah, waa, waa, waa. Think I'll do some fishing this weekend if the
creeks don't rise.
Thanks for the perspective Mike.
