Best one is the Adams tat on Charley :-) By the way, it looks like (despite the "lure" of your photos), a Colorado trip isn't in the cards for me this year after all, unfortunately! If the situation changes, though, I'll keep you posted. Bill Willi - beautiful pics man. Who is that with you? TBone |

TBone Charlie Wilson (the big guy with the Tat) and Snoop - Bob Skinner That's a section of river downstream from where you, Rusty and I fished. It gets fished four weekends(I believe) a year by about ten people at a time. You get a "beat" of about a half mile or so. Charlie W knows more than me he was a guide there last year. Willi |

Willi Thanks WIlli. That's about what I figured. Shoot, we'll have ta hook up. I know Rusty'd be down. Nice to think about that place just sitting there being wild. Your pal, Tim |

The Nature Conservancy only allows that place to be fished a couple of times a year, and I have been there on the first day and the last. It amazes me how quickly the trout "get educated", and how dumb they get again the following year. There are a lot of wild places left; most of them are that way because they are too remote, and many of them are private property, and some belong to TNC. It would better suit TNC if nobody ever fished Phantom Canyon, but opening it up a couple of weekends a year sure generates a lot of cash donations. |
