Well, it's a damned shame!

Wolfgang
who knows that if there had been a few more wolves we might not have had to
read that crap.

Wolves are being spotted more and more frequently around Stanley, Idaho.
Awhile ago someone posted a link to a story about a wolf kill (and the
resulting controversy) that occurred in full view right outside of town.

I take my dogs into the mountains frequently, and I'm absolutely certain
that wolves don't present anywhere near the danger to them as does the
poison set by anti-wolf yahoo lawbreakers.

What an overwrought piece of melodrama. A wolf pack can kick
the **** out of a dog pack. Well, helllllllloooooooo !!

Pets are killed by wolves in northern Minnesota all the time
and I can't ever remember reading a sob story like this one
in any of the Minnesota papers.

If the smell was that bad, why did you read it?

I'm much too busy for your baloney, I'm heading off on a two week vacation
in a couple days that starts with a fly fishing trip.

Um, Let's see if I have this straight.

A man, who bemoans the lack of wildlife in Idaho, trains packs of dogs
to terrorize the remaining wildlife, and whines when the wildlife
strikes back.

Indeed. You only have to drive about 4 hours north of my house
to get into wolf country in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and folks
manage to get along ok with them up there. Big game populations
are thriving well enough that hunters fly in from all over for
chance to hunt there.

In fact, wolves seem to have re-colonized ND, and I think I might
have seen one. At the time I thought it was a very big coyote
("Holy ****, that's a huge coyote," were my exact words) but later
I read that biologists have confirmed that several packs of wolves
are living and breeding in western ND, so now I wonder if it was
actually a wolf.

Whatever it was, my dogs and I survived ok,

Kevin
