My, that was exiting. Just now recovering enough to post.

Well, the magnanimity of victory--plus the fact that it wasn't entirely
clear in the end who was betting about what with whom--makes me think
that this is the result:

If we're ever in a bar and/or fly shop together in Montana, jeff and/or
wanyo should think about buying me howsoever many flies and/or beers he
and/or he thinks is appropriate.....

really, i have never seen such coaching incompetence and inept defensive
performances short of a little league opener in high point, nc.

your graceful offer in resolution of the bet is accepted. however,
let's make that *anywhere*, not just montana.

Lets see, the "Beavs" keep an over-tired pitcher in two innings past
his sell-by date (it was his third game in 8 days). NC also tries to
steal home on a third called strike making for one of the most exciting
plays in basabaroo. He almost made it. Don't even want to talk about
some fool getting caught in a run down. Trust me, no one was robbed in
that game. It was one of the best games I've ever seen on TV, college
or pro.
